Modelling and Seismic Response Analysis of Non-residential Single-storey Existing Precast Buildings in Italy

Old precast buildings are often characterized by poor detailing that may hamper the structural performance, particularly in case of earthquakes. This is essentially related to: (i) a limited past knowledge seismic design and behaviour, also reflected building codes; (ii) evolution zonation Italian territory. The aim this work to assess probabilistic vulnerability with respect usability preventing damage global collapse performance levels four existing single-story designed accordance codes from 1960s 1990s three sites increasing hazard.
